The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has assured the public not to rush for prepaid credit as technical challenges have been resolved.
The Managing Director of ECG, Samuel DubiK Mahama, on Thursday, October 5, 2022, during a press conference, said that all available platforms, such as the ECG mobile application, are actively running and providing good services. Hence, there is no need to panic .
“Don't panic, just take your time because if you run out, you can buy credit,” he added.
He also asked those who were having problems to visit the different ECG offices in order to receive quick assistance.
Mr. Dubik Mahama, during his address , emphasised that the mobile application is the “most convenient path” for customers, and to ensure that maximum productivity is achieved, all measures are being put in place to make the mobile application usable for customers to vend at any time.
He apologised for the inconveniences people went through in the past days and said that they “intend to do right for the people of Ghana.”
